Studio Activities

A description of our studio classses

  • ABS ONLY
  • 15 minutes of total concentration on the abdominal muscles only. Make sure that you've had at least 10 minutes warm-up if you're joining us from outside the studio
  • BODY MAX
  • Non-aerobic class, using all muscle groups (muscle strength & endurance). This will tone up muscles and improve core stability. Studio resistance workout using dumbbells and barbells at a weight to suit you. Working to music, you will go through a series of exercises, requiring little co-ordination, and finding muscles you didn't know you had.
  • CIRCUITS
  • A great combination of aerobic work and muscle toning for an all-round workout which is as tough as you want to make it
  • FAT BURNER
  • Mixing high and lo-impact aerobics, this is a high energy class which will burn fat and make huge improvements to your CV fitness. Rounded off with some abs work and stretches.
  • FIT AND 50
  • A gentle class specifically for the 50+ age group. Consists of exercise to music, light weights and loads of fun. Followed by a cup of tea/coffee. Bring a friend for only £2.00
  • JUNIOR GYM
  • For ages 11-15 years. A chance to work out in the gym doing circuits and using CV equipment under close supervision. Bookings essential (£2 per person)
  • KHAI BO
  • A non-contact aerobic workout incorporating the dynamic punching and kicking of Martial Arts and Western boxing, combined with the relaxation techniques of Yoga. Suitable for all levels of fitness. No previous Martial Arts experience necessary
  • JAZZERCISE
  • A fun dance workout
  • PILATES
  • Pilates training uses 34 basic controlled movements, but achieves dynamic results. Your body will become leaner and more toned. Suitable for men and women, the workout is ideal for improving flexibility, correcting postural alignment and preventing back pain
  • STUDIO CYCLING
  • Using static bikes in the studio, the instructor will take you on the bike ride of your life. This is the BEST calorie burning exercise there is. Your heart will be pumping and the music thumping. This one is a MUST!
  • STEP
  • A fun and motivating class using the step to create a variety of easy to follow moves. A brilliant fat burning, cardiovascular workout for all levels of fitness which will usually include some abdominal work
  • THIGHS, BUMS AND TUMS
  • As the title suggests, this class concentrates on the areas of the hips, bottom and stomach, giving a tightening/toning effect to those ever important areas
  • YOGA
  • In this class you will work at a relaxed pace to bring strength, vigour and suppleness to the body by using three major techniques. Body Posture, Breathing Exercises and Relaxation. Feel revitalised and relax both mind and body.
